If you are looking for a property for the following academic year, it's best to start looking during late February or early March - because 3+ bedroom properties go quickly , especially in the areas most popular with students.
The sheer demand for student properties means the most common way for them to be shown is during group viewings.
As a result the fairest way for a property to be secured is on a "first come, first served" basis.
This will mean that at the viewing, a member of our team will provide a business card to each interested party, clearly stating which property you have viewed.
The first person to come to our office with this card will be allowed to put down a holding fee and secure the property. For student properties in high-demand areas such as St Andrews, we may accept applications from several parties first, before securing a deposit.
